So I am kind of copying Raena on this one haha but I thought it would be fun to do so I finally pushed myself to do it!

 So this is my purse.. I got it for christmas but since I picked it out I know that it is from "Forever 21" and it was about $35.  So this is the front of the purse.

My hero is my mom. Now that is a pretty cliche answer but words cannot express the respect I have for her. She inspires me so much. I have to admit even when we fight and I so want to be mad at her and I might come off as really upset and mad but really on the inside my heart says to me "She is right... you are wrong. How can you be mad at her? She is such a good mom. She listens to you and is always on your side. Who could be better?" No matter how much I want to be mad at her I just can't. At least not for very long. I hope that I never lose that voice in my heart.. I hope it is forever by my side because I know it is right. My mom has gone through so much in her life but through all of that she found God and she has the closest relationship with God that I have ever seen a person have. I have seen my siblings fight with her and they said and did things that they now regret. I don't want to do that. I want to make her proud. Mom, Thank you for trusting me and always being there.

I need a time Machine

So tonight we were watching old home videos and most of the videos left me in tears. We were so close. I miss that. I miss us all living in the same house even if it means I would have to share a room. I don't care I miss us. We were an amazing family.. sure we fought and got mad at eachother over stupid things but we loved eachother. I would do anything to go back. If you look back ... it all has changed. Nothing is the same. Keil is in the Marine Corp. and always traveling, Zac is at home still but he just got back from Iraq, Kara is in Texas ... I don't even really remember the last Christmas we were all together or even when we were all under the same roof. It all seems so far away now. We all had embarrassing moments on the camera (especially me) but those are the moments we will all cherish forever. I wish I could go back just to meet myself or meet my older brothers when they were my age. It all just seems different but really all the happen was we all grew up. Now Keil is coming home tomorrow and now most of us will be together but Kara is still missing. I wish we could all just relive those moments just to really take in what we had. You never realize what you have not till its gone but till it has past. Time should be the most cherished thing because you will never get it back. So from now on just remember we don't know what is going to happen in the future or where God is going to put us but when you have the chance just come home because there is nothing better then spending time with your family. You have heard the saying or theory that " Life only gets harder" You know why they say that? Life only gets harder because you have more to look back on in the past and you have more to miss of the past which is always known as " the simple times in life."  Do you guys remember this song?

Bible Studying tips!

This year my new years resolution was to try and do Bible Study every night! I must say I have been doing a pretty good job even though I haven't done it every night I get it done at least 3-4 times a week. I know that is what a lot of people struggle with and I know the feeling. There aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done that you would love to get done but since I have been making time to do Bible Study I have a couple of tips that I think would help.
1. Before you start reading the Bible you should always pray. Pray that the Lord opens your heart and that He helps you understand what is going on. The best kind of Bible study is when you know He is right there with you.

2. Always do bible study somewhere that is quiet. I know it is hard to find somewhere quiet because I have a big family and when everyone was home it is very hard but if you can find somewhere that is somewhat quiet it can help.

3. Get a "Study Bible". They have many different Bibles but for doing Bible Study these kinds of Bibles are probably best. They have nice side notes to help you really understand what is going on and in the back sometimes they have keywords and different little tools that you can use to help you to get closer to God. They have different Study Bibles for different ages and genders. Which is part of the reason why I love my Bible. I have a Bible that is specifically for teenage girls and it really pays attention to the problems that teenage girls have.

4. Grab a notebook! It is always nice to take notes when you see a verse that you love. That way you can always look back at your notes to see what you wrote or what was important to you. Nothing is better then memorizing Bible verses. I always try to memorize the ones that I love because when ever I am in trouble or I need some guidence I have a verse to back up that problem.

5. Having a highlighter or a pen with you is very helpful! I don't know about you but when I take notes I have to highlight it first so that I do not get confused on what exactly I am writing down. It is also another way to look back at was verses really caught your eye.

6. When you are done reading and taking notes you should also pray. Pray that He can help you be more like Jesus and do the right thing. Ask Him to help you with life, thank him for all of the things he has given you and you can also do any prayer requests.

7. Try to make it a daily thing. Write it down in your planner make sure that you do not make school and homework an idol. Even though school is important if you compare the two God comes first. God always comes first. Nothing before Him.

Most of these probably won't happen! hahaha but whatever its good for me to have goals and to save up my money!
